– Modular Kit Home: A prefabricated structure designed for residential use, consisting of pre-manufactured components that are assembled either by the customer or by [My Own Tiny Home].

– Customer: The individual or entity purchasing the modular kit home.

– Company: Refers to [My Own Tiny Home], the seller and, if applicable, assembler of the modular kit home.

 

  1. Purchase Terms

3.1 Product Specifications

– The customer will be provided with detailed specifications of the modular kit home prior to purchase, including dimensions, materials, and assembly instructions.

– Any customizations or alterations to the standard modular design must be agreed upon in writing and may incur additional costs.

 

3.2 Order Confirmation

– An order is considered confirmed once the customer has signed a purchase agreement and provided a deposit of [10]% of the total purchase price.

– The customer will receive an estimated delivery and assembly timeline upon confirmation of the order.

 

3.3 Payment Terms

– The total cost of the modular kit home includes the cost of the home components, delivery, and any additional services (such as assembly, if requested).

– A non-refundable deposit of [10]% of the total purchase price is required to secure the order. This deposit will be used to procure materials and initiate the manufacturing process.

4.2 Delivery Location

– The customer is responsible for providing a suitable delivery address. The delivery location must be accessible to heavy vehicles for the safe and efficient unloading of the modular kit home components.

– If the delivery site is not accessible or ready, the customer may incur additional storage or redelivery fees.

5.1 Assembly Options

– Customer-Assembled: The customer may choose to assemble the modular kit home themselves. Assembly instructions and technical support will be provided.

– Company-Assembled: [Granny Flats4u] can provide assembly services at an additional cost if a kit is purchased from the site and within our jurisdiction, which will be agreed upon at the time of purchase. Generally included in the Kit home estimate.

 

5.2 Assembly Timeline

– If the customer opts for assembly by [Granny Flats 4u], the assembly will commence upon delivery of materials and be completed within an approximate agreed-upon timeframe at our build yard and delivered and installed by the builder QBCC license No 1210822 at the customers address . Factors such as weather and site conditions may affect the timeline. Council approval must be authorised. We are not responsible for any delays by council certification timelines for building approvals.

– The customer must ensure that the site is prepared and suitable for assembly prior to the arrival of the modular kit home. Failure to do so may result in delays and additional costs.

 

5.3 Site Requirements

– The customer is responsible for ensuring the assembly site complies with all local zoning laws and building regulations.

– The site must be leveled, cleared, and have all necessary utilities (e.g., water, electricity) available for the assembly team.

 

5.4 Assembly Warranty

– [Granny Flats 4u] guarantees that all assembly work performed by our team will meet the highest standards of quality. See our warranty policy here.

– This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, or external factors such as severe weather.

 

  1. Cancellation and Refund Policy

6.1 Cancellation by Customer

– The customer may cancel their order within [5] days of placing the order subject to if we havient ordered any materials. After this period, the deposit becomes non-refundable due to the costs incurred in procuring materials and initiating production.

– If the customer cancels the order after production has begun or during the assembly process, additional fees may apply for materials, labor, and other expenses.

 

6.2 Cancellation by Company
