This page explains how Granny Flats 4U handles refund and access requests for digital products, planning tools, floor plan links, quote enquiries, supplier referrals and custom project work.
Digital products
Guides, courses, calculators and downloads are usually delivered instantly. We support access issues, duplicate orders and genuine product problems.
Plans and third-party links
Some floor plans or supplier products may be sold by a third party. Their checkout, delivery and refund process may apply.
Custom projects
Deposits, quotes, site work and custom orders depend on the written quote, supplier terms or building contract for that project.
1. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law. If a product or service has a major problem, Australian consumer guarantees may give you rights to a refund, replacement, repair, cancellation or other remedy depending on the situation.

2. Digital guides, courses, calculators and downloads
Digital products may include PDF guides, planning packs, Excel calculators, worksheets, course access guides, video links or other downloadable resources.

3. Floor plans, affiliate links and supplier purchases
Some floor plan pages and product links may send you to a supplier or affiliate partner. If you buy directly from that third party, their terms, delivery process and refund policy may apply to that purchase.
Granny Flats 4U may receive a referral or affiliate commission from some links. This does not remove your consumer rights, but the seller of record will usually be the business that processed your payment.
4. Quote enquiries and supplier referrals
Submitting a quote enquiry through the website is free. If your details are forwarded to a supplier, builder, certifier, finance contact or other third party with your permission, any later payment arrangement should be confirmed in writing with that party before you proceed.
If you are unsure who is taking payment or what is included, ask for this in writing before paying a deposit.
5. Deposits, custom orders and project work
For modular homes, container homes, site work, drafting, engineering, certification, custom design, manufacturing or delivery, refund rights and cancellation terms depend on the written quote, invoice, supplier terms or building contract for that specific project.
- Custom design, drafting, engineering, council or supplier work may become non-refundable once work has started.
- Manufacturing, delivery bookings, crane bookings, site work and special-order materials may involve cancellation costs.
- Any deposit terms should be set out in the written quote or contract before you pay.
We recommend checking all inclusions, exclusions, timing, approval requirements and cancellation terms before paying a deposit.
6. How to request help with a refund or access issue
Please contact us with enough detail to review the issue quickly.
- Your name and email address used at checkout.
- Order number, invoice number or payment receipt if available.
- The product or service purchased.
- A clear description of the issue.
- Screenshots, photos or documents where relevant.
We will review the request and respond with the next step. For supplier or third-party purchases, we may direct you to the seller of record if they processed the payment.
